In politics they say never waste a good crisis. We say never waste a good court case (or many of them). We can make use of what we learned about a badly flawed, obsolete government that protects its own structure, hides wrong doing, practices obstruction instead of transparency and provides pacifying responses that don’t really say anything.

We have learned we are not alone, not just in this country, but in many countries there are people just like us.

Will this be easy? No, but it will be no more difficult than getting up in the morning and preparing to meet a judge in a courtroom, then explaining why you shouldn’t even be there.

SPECIFICALLY, WHO ARE WE?

We are a loosely knit group originally formed by a handful of seniors in Saskatchewan, Canada. Now we have interest and input from many places ranging in age from teenage to are-you-still-alive?

We are not big players in the political game, just a collection of ordinary citizens whose unique experiences share the insight that the best doesn’t always float to the top.

FUNDING

We considered the use of crowd funding to develop this project but have decided to proceed on our own.

We will be encouraging Canadians to support Independent Candidates (of their own choice) financially and physically as in hands-on when and where opportunities exist. We are promoting true democracy and not any ideology.

Might we flop and disappear? …yes.

But… might some of those 10,300,000 disenchanted voters join us? There are in fact enough of them to form a super majority government should they like the idea.

No one knows when they take the first step, how long the journey will be or where unknown roads will take them.
